Universal Studios Hollywood reveals full Halloween Horror Nights 2023 line-up
It’s official! Halloween Horror Nights 2023 at Universal Studios Hollywood will include the five previously-announced haunted houses plus “Evil Dead Rise,” original houses, “Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America” and “Holidayz in Hell,” and “Terror Tram…The Exterminatorz.”
The after-hours separately-ticketed Halloween event runs on select nights from Sept.7 through October 31, 2023, with eight haunted houses, Universal Studios Hollywood’s exclusive Terror Tram, and the return of Voldemort’s loyal Death Eaters to Hogsmeade village.
Halloween Horror Nights 2023 Haunted Houses at Universal Studios Hollywood
- “The Last of Us” (previously announced) – Guests will encounter Clickers, Bloaters, and more from the award-winning video game.
- “Stranger Things 4” (previously announced) – Guests will be transported to Hawkins, Indiana, to face off against the evil Vecna from the latest season of Netflix’s original series
- “The Exorcist: Believer” (previously announced) – A terrifying new battle between a family and a sinister demonic force that’s possessed their daughters.
- “Universal Monsters: Unmasked” (previously announced) – The Universal Monsters legacy continues as The Invisible Man, Dr. Jekyll, and Mr. Hyde, The Phantom of the Opera, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame come together for the first time
- “Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count” (previously announced) – Featuring the infamous doll’s best kills from the USA & SYFY series and cult classic films.
- “Evil Dead Rise” – A new twisted tale based on the iconic horror franchise and 2023 box office hit.
- “Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America” – An original haunted house inhabited by the most terrifying ghosts and creatures from Latin American folklore.
- “Holidayz in Hell” – A terrifying trip through psychotic seasonal celebrations
Terror Tram
Universal Studios Hollywood’s exclusive Halloween Horror Nights experience “Terror Tram…The Exterminatorz” in the world-famous Universal backlot puts guests in the middle of an insect uprising led by Larry Larva, whose goal is to exterminate humans from the Earth.
Horror fans will also walk through the Jupiter’s Claim set from “Nope,” where they’ll encounter The Tethered from “Us” in a crossover of Jordan Peele’s blockbusters.
Halloween Horror Nights 2023 Food and Drinks
Horror-themed food and drink items will be available throughout the park:
- “Stranger Things” fans can visit Surfer Boy Pizza, Scoops Ahoy, and a new 80s-themed Stellar Bar with mixed cocktails.
- Hollywood & Dine will transform into a “Chucky”-themed BBQ featuring brisket and Nashville popcorn chicken sandwiches, pulled pork macaroni and cheese, funnel cakes, and themed drinks.
- The Carl Laemmle Patio will feature Peacock’s Halloween Horror Bar with themed cocktails from “The Purge”and “Chucky” and photo opportunities with scareactors.
- Universal Plaza will honor Dia de Los Muertos with Latin Folklore-themed cocktails, Lil Cocina taco stand, and a margarita bar.
Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights 2023 Tickets
Universal Studios Hollywood offers several Halloween Horror Night 2023 ticket options, including General Admission, Universal Express, After 2 p.m. Day/Night, the premium R.I.P. Tour, Frequent Fear Pass, Ultimate Fear Pass, and the new Early Access Ticket, which provides access to select haunted houses before the event’s scheduled opening time (starting at 5:30 p.m., subject to change).
