The AMC Universal Cineplex 20 in CityWalk, which is just steps away from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, will devote every theater to the opening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 – giving guests multiple opportunities to be among the first to see the new film. All 20 movie screens within the theater, including The IMAX Experience theater, will debut the film at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 19 (Thursday night). There will also be a 3:15 a.m. IMAX showing of the movie.
Guests can also prepare for the new Harry Potter film by experiencing The Harry Potter Adventure special event at the theater. At 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18, guests can watch the two most recent Harry Potter films – Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince – before the 12:01 a.m. showing of the new movie. Tickets are $20 and include admission to all three films.
Tickets for both the 12:01 a.m. showing of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1” and The Harry Potter Adventure special movie block can be purchased at the box office or by clicking here. Tickets are expected to sell out and should be purchased in advance.
Of course, what better way to spend the day before or after the new movie than inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the seventh and final adventure in the Harry Potter series and will be told in two full-length parts. Part 1 begins as Harry, Ron and Hermione set out on their perilous mission to track down and destroy the Horcruxes — the keys to Voldemort’s immortality. On their own, without the guidance or protection of their professors, the three friends must now rely on one another more than ever.
