New, post-50th Disney Florida license plate benefits Make-A-Wish
Florida residents can now purchase a new Walt Disney World-themed license plate to support Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida, replacing the previous Disney Florida license plate design that celebrated Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.

The new design features a blue gradient background, a silhouette of Cinderella Castle, and sparkles of Pixie Dust. The words “Walt Disney World” are at the bottom and “Florida” is at the top.
“Disney is our largest wish-granter in the world, and they know just how important it is to create joy and hope for children and families who need it most,” said Anne Cuba, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida. “This new license plate is the latest way we are making big impacts for wish families in Florida, and I can’t wait to see it hit the roads soon as even more Florida drivers join us in making wishes come true.”

The design is only available to Florida-registered car owners. Residents can purchase the new plate during a tag renewal or registration appointment. This may require a visit to a local DMV or County Tax Collector’s Office. If you need help with this process, check out Disney’s primer.
According to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, the new Disney license plate carries an annual fee of $25, plus registration fees.
Disney introduced its first license plate to support Make-A-Wish in 2021at the onset of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration,” and recognized the resort’s 18-month-long 50th anniversary. Sales of the celebration-themed plate raised over $2 million for Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida.

As Cuba mentioned, Disney is Make-A-Wish’s largest wish-granter. The organizations recently partnered to host Once Upon a Wish, a royal ball, at Walt Disney World. Disney’s current Create 100 campaign will also benefit Make-A-Wish.
