New two-day admission ticket and adjusted pricing coming to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
Kennedy Space Center has announced a new two-day ticket will be available starting June 20, 2022, and single-day, annual passes, children, senior, and military ticket prices will be adjusted.
Along with price changes, new discounts and promotional offers will become available as Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex continues to expand its footprint.
The two-day ticket, which will cost less than $45 per day and offer maximum flexibility, can be used for up to six months from the time of purchase.
Pricing for the new ticket is $89 per adult and $79 per child ages three-11.
Single-day admission will increase to $75 per adult and $65 per child. Military members and seniors can purchase single-day tickets for $70, and the new Atlantis Annual Pass will range from $120-$149 per person.
The most recent price increase for the visitor complex took place in 2018.
“With the addition of Gateway, which is a multi-hour attraction and provides a whole new experience for the complex, this price increase will enable us to provide greater in-park experiences, enhanced programs, and promotional offers for our guests,” said Therrin Protze, chief operating officer of Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
Guests can take advantage of new discounts and promotions, including the Teacher Pass available to all U.S. educators; a “Family Month” promotion for Florida residents, giving children free admission with the purchase of an adult ticket; the Florida resident Preschool Pass that allows free entry for kids ages five and under; expanded military veteran discounts that include family members; and more.
Highlights at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex include the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour, which visits the Apollo/Saturn V Center and gives visitors a view of restricted areas and, at certain times, a glimpse of a rocket getting ready for launch.
Enhancements to the center’s educational opportunities will also take place, with the addition of in-park education stations and new edutainment. In addition, even more Title I school groups will be able to visit at no cost.
“Over the last four years we have designed, constructed, and opened several new attractions, including Planet Play, the addition of the Delta II in our Rocket Garden, and Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex, which will celebrate its grand opening next week,” Protze added.
“We have also opened several new eateries such as Milky Way and Red Rock, enhanced and expanded exhibits at the Apollo/Saturn V Center, and replaced and redesigned our buses,” he continued. “We are committed to sharing the stories of the past, present, and future of space exploration in an engaging, immersive, and inspiring way, and we look forward to continuing our mission for years to come.”
All funding for Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is through guests’ admission and sponsorships. The center receives no federal funding.
