New Universal Orlando Annual Pass prices and benefits announced

Frequent flyers at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter may want to hold onto their wallets, because today the internet owls delivered news of new, higher Universal Orlando Annual Pass prices, along with new benefits and options for passholders, including a brand new Seasonal Pass.
An official blog post and ticketing website update on August 31 unveiled new Universal Orlando Annual Pass prices, benefits, and levels. The most significant change is the addition of a new Seasonal Pass, which is very similar to the former Power Pass, with extensive peak season and concert blockout dates and limited discounts. The Power Pass now significantly more expensive, but has no summer blockouts and gained half-price self parking. Preferred Passholders now get Early Park Admission on most days (selected peak days excluded), while Premier Passholders can enjoy Early Park Admission 365 day a year. A number of other benefits have been tweaked; read below for the details:

Seasonal Pass
• One year of park-to-park admission (blockout dates apply during winter holidays, spring break, summer, and all concert dates at Universal Studios Florida)
• Discounts on Universal Orlando’s separately-ticketed events (Halloween Horror Nights and Rock the Universe)
• Discounts on Blue Man Group tickets, on-site hotel stays, multi-day theme park tickets purchased at the Front Gate, and more
Price: $284.99 plus tax for non-residents; $259.99 plus tax for Florida Residents or $12.59 per month with interest-free FlexPay after a $138.45 down payment (tax inclusive).

Power Annual Pass
• One year of park-to-park admission with fewer blockout dates and access to all evening Mardi Gras concerts at Universal Studios Florida regardles of blockouts. Blockout dates have been removed for summer date.
• $10 self-parking (50% off the regular price)
• Discounts on Universal Orlando’s separately-ticketed events (Halloween Horror Nights and Rock the Universe)
• Discounts on Blue Man Group tickets, on-site hotel stays, multi-day theme park tickets purchased at the Front Gate, and more
Price: $344.99 plus tax for non-residents; $319.99 plus tax for Florida Residents or $15.49 per month with interest-free FlexPay after a $170.40 down payment (tax inclusive).

Preferred Annual Pass
• One year of park-to-park admission with no blockout dates
Early Park Admission to enjoy the parks one hour before opening (blockout dates apply during peak periods and select Saturdays)
• Free self-parking; $10 preferred parking (Valet parking discount has been removed)
• 10% Discount at most Universal-operated merchandise locations and restaurants (liquor and snack carts excluded)
• Discounts on Universal Orlando’s separately-ticketed events (Halloween Horror Nights and Rock the Universe)
• Discounts on Blue Man Group tickets, on-site hotel stays, multi-day theme park tickets purchased at the Front Gate, and more
Price: $384.99 plus tax for non-residents; $349.99 plus tax for Florida Residents or $16.94 per month with interest-free FlexPay after a $186.45 down payment (tax inclusive).

Premier Annual Pass
• One year of park-to-park admission with no blockout dates
• Early Park Admission to enjoy the parks one hour before opening all year long – no blockout dates
• Complimentary valet and preferred parking
• Universal Express access to bypass the regular lines at participating rides and attractions after 4 p.m.
• Free Halloween Horror Nights ticket on select off-peak event nights (cannot be transfered or upgraded)
• 15% Discount at most Universal-operated merchandise locations and restaurants (liquor and snack carts excluded). Merchandise discount was formerly 20%.
• Discounts on Universal Orlando’s separately-ticketed events (Halloween Horror Nights and Rock the Universe)
• Discounts on Blue Man Group tickets, on-site hotel stays, multi-day theme park tickets purchased at the Front Gate, and more
Price: $539.99 plus tax for non-residents; $489.99 plus tax for Florida Residents or $23.72 per month with interest-free FlexPay after a $260.92 down payment (tax inclusive).
