Nomadic, an immersive entertainment company that creates virtual reality (VR) experiences, has announced that its first brick-and-mortar location is coming to Pointe Orlando this fall.
“Orlando is the mecca of location-based entertainment, where tens of millions gather annually for vacations and events,” said Doug Griffin, CEO and founder of Nomadic. “Nomadic is the most immersive VR experience today, allowing visitors to physically engage with magical worlds. The Nomadic experience will fit right at home in this city and set the stage for a larger scale expansion in 2019.”
The Nomadic experience will open at Pointe Orlando this fall, featuring their VR arcade game, “Arizona Sunshine.”
In the experience, players will be immersed in a walkable, warehouse-style environment that combines virtual reality with the physical space – allowing them to reach out and touch their surroundings like trains, elevators, helicopters, and even zombies.
