Halloween has arrived at Mall of America’s Nickelodeon Universe, transforming it into Nickelodeon Boo-niverse for a limited time!
Now through Oct. 31, guests can enjoy a variety of entertainment, activities, and themed experiences to really get into the spooky spirit.
Check out the lineup of events below:
Fright Lights Halloween Spectacular
- Nightly at park close through Oct. 31 at the South Entrance
- Fridays and Saturdays at 8 and 9:30 p.m; Sundays at 7:30 p.m.; Monday – Thursday at 9:30 p.m.
The South Entrance of Nickelodeon Universe will light up with spooky music and Halloween dancers during both shows on Friday and Saturday nights starting Oct. 11. Keep in mind that Fright Lights uses strobe lights and fog effects.
Double Dare Challenge: Double Scare Edition
- Oct. 11-27 in West Market Square
- Fridays and Saturdays at 4 and 7 p.m.; Sundays at 1 and 4 p.m.
Guests can take part in this special Double Dare Challenge as they answer trivia, tackle physical challenges, navigate the Spooktacular obstacle course – all in the hopes of getting slimed!
Haunted “Fog Chute”
- Sept. 26 – Oct. 31 in the East Side
- Friday and Saturday nights only
For a limited time, the Log Chute will be transformed into a haunted Fog Chute. Guests will have to watch out for cobwebs, bats, and ghosts as they travel through the mill and end with a splashdown. Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox have joined in the festivities this year with their own Halloween costumes.
Slime Making with Mad Science
- Oct. 12-13 at the Blue Spot
- 2-4 p.m.
With the purchase of an all-day Nickelodeon Universe wristband, guests can stop by the Blue Spot to make their own slime!
Amateur Pumpkin Carving Contest
- Saturday, Oct. 19 in the Rotunda
- 1-3 p.m.
Guests can cheer on local pumpkin carvers as they compete for a cash prize and the title of Nickelodeon Universe Amateur Pumpkin Carving Champion.
Professional Pumpkin Carvers
- Oct. 26-27 at the Blue Spot
- 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Watch as local sculptors carve Nickelodeon characters from real pumpkins and answer questions about carving techniques.
- Oct. 25-26 starting at the Blue Spot
- 6-8 p.m.
Guests can show off their Halloween attire and have fun with the second-annual Treat Trail. Included with a Nickelodeon Universe wristband purchase is a treat bag to use when visiting designated treat locations throughout the park.
Trick-or-Treating around Mall of America
- Thursday, Oct. 31
- 5-8 p.m.
Guests can spend Halloween at Mall of America in their Halloween best to enjoy some trick or treating! The fun begins in the Rotunda, where everyone receives their treat bags before setting off for more than 520 retail locations for treats.
