Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party returns to Disney California Adventure in 2026 with Yzma joining its collection of villain-hosted treat trails, plus returning characters from “Kingdom Hearts,” “Hocus Pocus,” Marvel and Pixar.

This after-hours party hosted by Oogie Boogie from “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” features rare Disney Villains in person at Disney California Adventure Park in Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif.
New villain characters for Oogie Boogie Bash 2026
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party returns to Disney California Adventure in 2026 with Yzma joining its collection of villain-hosted treat trails, plus returning characters from “Kingdom Hearts,” “Hocus Pocus,” Marvel and Pixar.
Yzma is the only new villain treat-trail character Disney has confirmed for 2026. Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake also introduces Haunted Mansion performers in a new entertainment format.
Full list of Disney Villains appearing at Treat Trails for Oogie Boogie Bash 2026
During the immersive Treat Trails, guests move through themed environments while Disney Villains interact with the crowd from elevated stages. These are not traditional meet-and-greets, so guests generally cannot stop and pose individually with the characters.

Cast members distribute candy and snacks throughout the trail. Allergy-friendly and no-sugar-added options are also available.
Disney has confirmed the following villains for Oogie Boogie Bash in 2026:
Hollywood Land
- Dr. Doofenshmirtz (“Phineas and Ferb”)
- Judge Doom (“Who Framed Roger Rabbit”)
- Oogie Boogie (“Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas”)
- Hades (“Hercules”)
Near the Hyperion Theater
- Ernesto de la Cruz (“Coco”)
Avengers Campus
- Agatha Harkness (“WandaVision” and “Agatha All Along”)
Grizzly Peak
- New: Yzma (“The Emperor’s New Groove”)
Returning characters with locations to be confirmed
- Syndrome (“The Incredibles”)
- Maleficent (“Sleeping Beauty”)

In 2025, Syndrome appeared at the Pixar Pier Band Shell, while Maleficent hosted a trail at Grizzly Peak Pass. Their exact 2026 locations had not been announced before the first party.
Yokai from “Big Hero 6” is not on Disney’s announced list.
Characters with traditional meet & greets
Beyond the villain treat trails, Oogie Boogie Bash offers traditional character encounters where guests can wait in line and pose for photos.
Disney has announced the following character groups for 2026:
- Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow dressed as the Sanderson Sisters from “Hocus Pocus”
- Pain, Panic and Megara from “Hercules”
- Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy in their “Kingdom Hearts” costumes
- Select “Toy Story” characters
- Edna Mode and Mr. Incredible from “The Incredibles”
- Black Panther, Spider-Man and Scarlet Witch from Marvel
Due to the party being a special event, characters at Oogie Boogie Bash may or may not sign autographs.

Haunted Mansion characters in Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake
New for 2026, Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party brings characters inspired by the Haunted Mansion into the streets of Disney California Adventure.
Hosted by Madame Leota, the new entertainment features the hitchhiking ghosts, gravediggers, ballroom dancers and other spectral performers. These are part of the street party rather than traditional meet-and-greet opportunities.
Disney Villains represented in Villains Grove
Several additional Disney Villains are represented through lighting, projections, music and environmental effects inside Villains Grove at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. These are themed scenes—not appearances by live characters.
The walkthrough includes environments inspired by:
- Frollo from “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”
- Maleficent from “Sleeping Beauty”
- The Queen of Hearts from “Alice in Wonderland”
- Scar from “The Lion King”
- Dr. Facilier from “The Princess and the Frog”
- The Evil Queen from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”
Villains Grove also includes the “Brave”-inspired Home of the Wisps and a concluding scene called Dawn.

Oogie Boogie Bash takes place from 6-11 p.m. on the following nights:
- Aug. 18, 20, 23, 25, 27 and 30
- Sept. 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27 and 29
- Oct. 1, 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27, 29 and 31
The Sept. 27 party is exclusive to D23 members.
Price: $139-$199 (unchanged from 2025)
