Orlando World Center Marriott hosts Vertical Concert Series
From April 2 – May 30, guests staying in select rooms and suites at Orlando World Center Marriott hotel will be treated to exclusive “vertical concerts” and nighttime laser light shows.
Each Friday and Saturday starting at 8 p.m., guests who book a 2-night stay at the Orlando World Center Marriott can take advantage of an exclusive perk, with the Vertical Concert Series lineup of rock, pop, and country music bands, followed by a spectacular laser light show.
The hotel’s upper pavilion will become the stage for live bands each weekend from April 2 – May 30, and will only be visible to guests in select rooms and suites. View the concert and laser light show from the comfort of your private balcony, with a different band playing each weekend.
Robert Bray, general manager at Orlando World Center Marriott, revealed the thinking behind this innovative idea: “After a long year of social distancing, people are hungry for live music — and the Orlando World Center Marriott is offering guests a chance to shake off their worries in a safe environment. We’ve gathered together a fantastic lineup of musicians for our Vertical Concert Series and we’re confident these events will add an experiential component that will make staying at our hotel all the more memorable.”
To experience the concerts, guests must book the special Two Night Vertical Concert Viewing Package, which includes accommodation for up to four guests, with room assigned at check-in; newly redesigned room with an oversized private balcony; and one night’s self-parking for one vehicle per booking. A reservation for both Friday and Saturday night is required. Taxes and resort fees are not included.
The Official Concert Series schedule is as follows:
- April 2-3: Bronx Wanderers (classic rock ‘n’ roll)
- April 9-10: US Stones (Rolling Stones tribute)
- April 16-17: Stormbringer (‘70s and ‘80s hits)
- April 23-24: British Invasion (Beatles tribute)
- April 30 – May 1: True Rumors (Fleetwood Mac tribute)
- May 7-8: Boy Band Review (‘90s pop hits)
- May 14-15: Motown Review (Soul and R&B)
- May 21-22: Alter Eagles (Eagles tribute)
Special concerts will take place over Memorial Day Weekend, culminating in a dazzling fireworks display after the Sunday night performance. Bands playing each night are:
- May 28: Easy Posse (Florida’s premier country band)
- May 29-30: Garth Guy Show (Garth Brooks tribute)
