Orlando’s Art & Wellness Expo is set for this Saturday, May 16, at Artegon Marketplace on International Drive.

Orlando’s Art & Wellness Expo will provide a platform for guests beginning to transition into a healthier lifestyle and offer options/activities for those who already have. Organizers have said the goal of this event is “to restore self power into our community through health based education accompanied by visual stimulation.”

This family friendly event will feature over 100 local artisans, wellness vendors, all levels color therapy yoga, informative health speakers, an art therapy tent, demos, live body painting competition, a community mural, raffles, giveaways and live performances. On the day of the event, all children under the age of 18 will receive a voucher for a free teeth cleaning. All athletes will receive a free custom fitted mouth guard.

Partial proceeds from raffles, ticket sales and the community mural benefit non-profit organization “Get A Board Foundation”. The program actively supplies at-risk youth with skateboards, skating lessons and art activities. YogART inc. will also benefit from the event to help make yoga and art therapy workshops available to local communities.

Hours for the Expo are from Noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2015. Admission is free for all ages, but tickets for the yoga class are $10 and can be purchased online here.
