Pacific Wharf at Disneyland Resort will be reimagined as San Fransokyo

San Fransokyo has, so far, only lived in the movie world of Disney’s “Big Hero 6,” but guests at Disney California Adventure Park will one day be able to live out their California dreams with a big helping of Tokyo style when Pacific Wharf undergoes a dramatic transformation.

During the “A Boundless Future: Disney Parks, Experiences, and Product” presentation at D23 Expo, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products Josh D’Amaro announced the area’s upcoming progression to a “Big Hero 6” theme.

Details of the upcoming changes were sparse, and consisted mainly of the reveal of new concept art, but it has been announced that the area will include a place to meet Baymax, along with shopping and dining outlets.
