Lumberjack Feud show and Adventure Park in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. will host its first Rib Fest from October 1-2, 2022 in a family-friendly festival of fun with vendors, games, live music, and an authentic lumberjack competition.
Rib Fest presented by Sugarlands Distilling Co. will pit ribmasters against each other in a two-day competition, during which the Rib Fest People’s Choice Champion will be chosen by guests based on their favorite ribs.
Smoked meats will be accompanied by homemade side dishes and beverages for guests to try, and the competition’s first-place winner will receive $2,000, second place wins $1,500, and third place will take home $1,000.
During each day of the festival, visitors can also enjoy the authentic Smoky Mountain Wood Choppin’ Championship featuring lumberjacks from around the country competing in events such as the Standing Block Chop, Underhand Chop, Singlebuck, Springboard Chop, Hot Saw, and Speed Climb.
Local musicians River Divide, Whiskey Business, plus a surprise headliner act, will be on hand to provide live music, while children and kids-at-heart can expend some energy playing mini-golf and other games, bouncing in inflatables, or sitting for face-paintings or caricature drawings.
The event takes place from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on October 1 and from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on October 2.
Tickets for the Lumberjack Feud show start at $34.99 per adult, $14.99 per child. A package that includes the show and the Adventure Park costs $64.99 per adult and $44.99 per child.
