Performance art group, Drip, to open permanent venue on International Drive

In early 2012 Drip, a critically-acclaimed performance art group, will greet guests at their new permanent venue on International Drive. The 5,100-square-foot space will provide a new brand of interactive entertainment.

Drip is a wet and intriguing dance show, accompanied by raining liquids, flying powders, a live rock band and a colored beer bar. Visitors are invited to partake in a variety of colored beers while watching Drip’s visual rock concert where dancers will perform with raining liquids and colored powders directly next to the audience.

The Drip team consists of talents that have worked at Cirque du Soleill, Blue Man Group, House of Blues, and Hard Rock Live. Drip has been creating arts entertainment experiences featuring performance art installations, dance and music for the last five years.

The building is located at 8747 International Drive, two doors down from Howl at the Moon. Tickets for the shows will start at $29 per person several nights of the week, with plans to eventually stay open every day of the week, offering multiple show times per night. Drip is poised to hire up to 50 staff, including performers and administrative staff within the first year of operation.
