The widely-loved Phantom Manor attraction will soon open its doors once again to guests visiting Disneyland Paris after a lengthy reimagining.
On May 3, guests will be able to experience Phantom Manor in a new way, as the ride features revived sets and special effects, paintings, lighting, Audio-Animatronics, and audio systems to create a more immersive experience.
But the changes to this iconic attraction were not just on the surface level. Imagineers took this renovation as an opportunity to reimagine several moments in the attraction’s storyline to clear up some of the shadows of its history. And you know what that means….
Yes, guests will finally learn the true identity of the Phantom himself!
If you listen closely while on the ride, you’ll be able to hear the voice of Vincent Price, whose narration will now welcome guests into the manor and guide them to the heart of its tragic mystery. His recording was originally made in 1992 but was never used. The refurbishment of Phantom Manor has brought new life to this original recording, which also allows guests to experience the narration in both French and English.
Stay tuned for more updates on the return of the attraction to Disneyland Paris. For more information on the park’s other offerings, visit DisneylandParis.com/en-us.
