Photos from The Simpsons Ride
We were able to ride The Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios today during technical rehearsals. Below are a sampling of photos from the attraction. Look for a full photo gallery after the grand opening on May 15.
Although the wait was more than an hour today, the video screens played new clips as well as classic Simpsons clips to keep you entertained.
One part of the line video sets up the ride and features Doc Brown from “Back to the Future.”
When you first enter the building there are monitors set up on either side of the lines that place the characters in different Krustyland settings. Most of the time they’re just looking around, but they speak up once in a while.
This is in the room just before you enter the ride. The screen shows the preshow video. There’s also a funhouse mirror in the room.
A close-up look at the back of your ride vehicle.

Maybe, just maybe we’ll branch outside of Walt Disney World and see Universal 🙂 The pics look great!
So… how was the actual ride?
Looks great!
Just out of interest, has the Space Shuttle photo model opposite the attraction been removed? I reckon it would lose the effect with a big Krusty head underneath!
When I was there about a week before it opened, the space shuttle thingy was still there.
