Photos: Mickey Mouse, Disney Princess meet-and-greets return to Magic Kingdom
For the first time in forever, meet-and-greets are back — in a way — at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom!
Guests can now enjoy character “sightings” with Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater, and Princess Tiana and Rapunzel at Princess Fairytale Hall.
As a result of the pandemic, the meet-and-greet experience has been modified to more of a “selfie spot” experience, in which guests can say hello and snap a photo with their favorite characters, but hugs and autographs are off the table (for now). A similar entertainment offering has been available for quite some time at Disneyland Paris and Shanghai Disneyland.
The changes to the experience are minimal, with a velvet rope serving as a barrier between guests and the characters, and no PhotoPass being present to snap photos. The meet-and-greets are also set up for Lightning Lane, but are not offering it at this time.
