Ringling Bros. circus to return in 2023 with no animals

“The Greatest Show on Earth” will soon return, but with a major change — that’s right, the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus is planning a return with no animals as part of the show.

The news was shared during a recent panel discussion with officials from Feld Entertainment, according to USA Today.

“Right now, we are currently still in the planning phase for the relaunch of The Greatest Show On Earth, which will not include animals,” said a spokesperson for Feld Entertainment. “An official announcement will be made in 2022 and an opening date is expected for 2023.”
