Photos/Video: Summer Nights kick off at Busch Gardens
Busch Gardens’ annual Summer Nights event kicked off this past weekend. From Kinetix amping it up for the third year in the row to the introduction of fireworks every night, it is shaping up to be the most action packed Summer Nights event yet.
Let’s Get Loud is a latin-infused dance party that performs multiple times per day in the Marrakesh Theater.
DJs and party starters are scattered throughout the park keeping the energy going all night long.
The biggest show the park puts on for Summer Nights is Kinetix.
The show involves dancing and live singers.
It also involves acrobats who fly across the stage.
New for this year, the show features aerialists that soar above the stage.
Also new for this year, jugglers balance on ladders on stage.
The bicyclist returns after popular demand.
Some neat effects were also added to this years show including dancer silhouette boxes on either side of the stage.
This balancing act was similar to the one featuring in Cirque Dreams: Jungle Fantasy which had a limited engagement at the park last year.
The jump ropers were back and are the only act that is the same since the first year of the show.
The finale of the show ends with tons of pyrotechnics.
Fireworks light up the sky every night this year and feature the top pop songs of the year including ones by Jennifer Lopez, One Direction, Lady Gaga and more.
One of the most unique parts of the fireworks are these colored flame throwers. Be sure to look for them at the back of Gwazi Park.
