Pictures of Cinderella Castle lit up for the holidays

For the first time, Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World magically morphs into a shimmering, glimmering ice palace for the holidays – thanks to a new special effects spectacle bathing the castle in 200,000 twinkly white lights. Magic Kingdom guests will be treated nightly to the castle celebration, which also features cherished Disney characters. Similar lighting spectacles will also adorn Disney parks in Paris, Hong Kong and Anaheim, Calif.

The castle looks beautiful! I wish I could see it this year. Do you think they will bring this back every year?

Wow… That picture is beyond words. That’s absolutely gorgeous! I hope they find a way to keep that going all year!
