Captain Redbeard and his crew are returning to the shores of Legoland Florida Resort for PirateFest Weekends!

piratefest weekends

For three consecutive weekends, starting on Jan. 22, families can immerse themselves in the ultimate pirate-packed day of play, featuring exclusive character meet-and-greets, entertainment, Lego builds, and specialty food offerings — all included with theme park admission.

Junior pirates and their crews will be able to enjoy exclusive character meet-and-greets with Pirate Captain, Pirate Princess, Zombie Pirate, and even Captain Redbeard himself! Another fan favorite, Shark Suit Guy, will also make an appearance. There will also be pirate-themed photo spots around the park for guests to take selfies with, including one with Sawtooth the Shark.

Adventure and music await with the return of the original stage show, “Treasure Behold,” where a crew of pirates will set their sights on finding a legendary buried treasure inside Lego City Stage. Younger guests can learn the “ways of the pirate” in the interactive show, “Academy of Arrgh!,” or jam out to the notorious pirate band, Rusty Cutlass. Of course, no PirateFest Weekend is the same without experiencing Brickbeard’s Watersports Stunt Show, where Captain Brickbeard and Calico Jade whip their new pirate recruits into shape with an epic show featuring wakeboarding, barefoot skiing, and a flyboard act. Families looking for more hands-on fun can take part in pirate-themed activities around the park, including a sea creature competition build and a deep-sea scavenger hunt. There might even be treasure in store for those who collect stamps in their Pirate Guide by experiencing all that the event has to offer.
