Pixar Place Hotel to open in January 2024 at Disneyland

The official opening date for Pixar Place Hotel at the Disneyland Resort is set for Jan. 30, 2024. Since 2000, this hotel was themed as Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, and the Pixar-update was officially announced at the 2022 D23 Expo. Along with the opening date, Disney shared a first-look at the new guestrooms as well as some of the food coming to the onsite restaurant.

Guest rooms were designed to include details and art from Pixar Animation Studios. Families will find the playful Pixar Lamp perched on top of the desk as well as bedding and pillows adorned with the bouncy Pixar Ball. Some of the art found in the guest rooms was created just for the hotel by Pixar animators themselves.

Great Maple restaurant is the on-site restaurant located on the ground floor of Pixar Place Hotel. Great Maple opens in November for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, featuring an “upscale comfort food” menu of maple bacon doughnuts, mac & cheese, fried chicken, sandwiches, burgers, and more.

Following the debut of Great Maple, the Sketch Pad Café grab-and-go coffee shop opens in the lobby as well as a Small Bytes rooftop pool bar.

Some of the Pixar-themed elements are popping up at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel prior to the Jan. 30 opening of Pixar Place, including Nemo’s Cove water play area, outdoor fire pits evoking hotheaded Pixar characters, the STOR-E retail shop, and an expanded fitness center.

Finally, Disney shared a new artist rendering of the lobby depicting the giant Pixar Lamp and mobile that will greet guests in the atrium.
