Water parks!

New for “Planet Coaster 2,” players can create water parks in addition to theme parks. They’ll be able to develop marquee attractions such a water coasters, flume slides, wave pools, and lazy rivers, as well as construct water park facilities like lifeguard stands and sun beds.

Customize rides

Players can customize attractions for the first time in the new game. Mix and match your preference of animatronics, smoke, water, and sound to create your perfect theme park attraction.

Three gaming modes

“Planet Coaster 2” will have three gaming modes:

  • Sandbox Mode: Design your park, your way
  • Career Mode: Manage your authentic coaster park or water park
  • Franchise Mode: Build a global network of parks

Sneak peek livestreams on Twitch

“Frontier Unlocked,” featuring sneak peeks of “Planet Coaster 2,” will livestream on Twitch the last Wednesday of each month. During the livestream on July 31, 2024 at 1 p.m. ET, Frontier will share a first look at gameplay.

Collaborate with other players

Visiting a park as a single rider can be fun, but so can experiencing it with others. Players can collaborate with fellow park-builders in a shared Sandbox level, or visit other players’ parks to just ride their rides. These features are available across platforms, so no matter which game system the players own, they can still mingle.

Build beyond the rides

As theme park fans know, a lot goes into developing a park beyond the headliner attractions. In “Planet Coaster 2,” players can not only create their own rides, but can also craft their own plazas and pathways and perform safety maintenance procedures.
