Barnes & Noble has announced the return of its customer-favorite event, Storytime Pajama Party featuring “The Polar Express,” set for Friday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. in stores nationwide.
The special event will feature a reading of “The Polar Express,” holiday-themed activities for all ages, and a free Christmas ornament while supplies last. In addition, each child can enjoy a complimentary hot chocolate and cookie from the Café.
“The Storytime Pajama Party for Chris Van Allsburg’s ‘The Polar Express’ is one of our most beloved Barnes & Noble holiday traditions,” said Stephanie Fryling, vice president of merchandising, children’s books at Barnes & Noble. “Each year, families look forward to gathering at our stores in their favorite pajamas to celebrate the holidays with this treasured story.”
In “The Polar Express” by Chris Van Allsburg, a young boy is welcomed aboard a magical trip to the North Pole, where he gets to make his Christmas wish and meet Santa Claus himself.
Guests are encouraged to take photos of themselves and their loved ones enjoying the event and share them to their social media accounts using the hashtag #BNStorytime.
