Possible Spider-Man animatronic shown off for Avengers Campus
The Disney Parks Blog has shown off what could be our first look at a Spider-Man “stuntronic” as part of Avengers Campus, which opens at Disney California Adventure this summer.
The Parks Blog shared a video of Spidey swinging about at a “top secret location,” with his moves looking extremely similar to a “stuntronic” prototype that was shown off by Walt Disney Imagineering back in 2018. You can check out the video of Spider-Man and the original “stuntronic” video for yourself below:
Disney has not explicitly said that this is a Spider-Man “stuntronic,” though they did say that guests visiting Disney California Adventure “in the near future” might be able to get a glimpse of the hero swinging above the rooftops of Avengers Campus, dressed in his Parks-exclusive Spidey suit. For now, we’ll just have to speculate until it is officially confirmed.
Avengers Campus is scheduled to open this summer at Disney California Adventure. To learn more about Marvel-themed offerings at the Disneyland Resort, visit Disneyland.com.
