Princess Cruises will start sailing from Port Canaveral in 2024
For the first time, Princess Cruises will homeport at Port Canaveral in Central Florida beginning in late November 2024.
The iconic “Love Boat” cruise line will re-position the 3,140-passenger Caribbean Princess in late November 2024 to sail eastern and western Caribbean itineraries out of Port Canaveral starting Nov. 27, 2024.

Establishing Port Canaveral as a homeport is part of Princess Cruises’ North America expansion to offer voyages guests can access from major drive markets like Central Florida.

The Caribbean Princess will sail 4- to 14-day cruises out of Port Canaveral, including:
- One 4-day Turks & Caicos Getaway over the Thanksgiving holiday
- Five 8-day Eastern Caribbean sailings to St. Thomas, St. Maarten, San Juan, and Grand Turk
- Five 8-day Western Caribbean sailings to Cozumel, Costa Maya, Belize City, and Roatan (Mahogany Bay)
- Nine 6-day Eastern Caribbean sailings, including Nassau, Grand Turk, and either Amber Cove or San Juan
Plus, travelers can combine any 8-day and 6-day itineraries for a 14-day vacation.
