Celebrate Hanukkah at Sesame Place San Diego

The daytime Sesame Street-style Hanukkah Celebration includes the Furry Friends Hanukkah Dance Party featuring traditional holiday music, a game of dreidel with Elmo, and a reading of Elmo’s First Dreidel (the book is also available for purchase at Hooper’s Store).

Families who celebrate Hanukkah at Sesame Place San Diego on Dec. 10, 2023, can also participate in a menorah lighting ceremony led by Rabbi Daniel Reich from Congregation Adat Yeshurun. A special Kosher holiday food menu will be available (while supplies last).

A Very Furry Christmas

Through Jan. 7, 2024, families can join the park’s festive holiday celebration as Sesame Place becomes a winter wonderland, with thousands of twinkling lights and holiday surprises, including the Sesame Street Christmas show, Sesame Street Christmas Parade, and Furry Friends Christmas Dance Party.

New this year, Sesame Place San Diego guests can enjoy a 24-foot-tall Christmas tree, photos with Santa, and extended evening hours.

In addition to all the holiday celebrations, Sesame Place San Diego guests can enjoy Sesame Street-themed rides and attractions, the interactive Sesame Street Neighborhood, daily live character shows, an award-winning parade, and, of course, meet all their favorite Sesame Street friends.

Free Kids Admission

Through Jan. 7, 2024, kids ages 3 to 9 will receive free admission when accompanied by an adult with a paid ticket. Tickets must be purchased by Dec.10, 2023, and the visit must take place by Jan. 7, 2024 (kids under three visit free year-round).

The Sesame Place San Diego Hanukkah Celebration takes place on Dec. 10, 2023, and A Very Furry Christmas takes place through Jan. 7, 2024. The park is open on Saturdays and Sundays, plus select additional dates.
