From Aug. 11-17, Graceland in Memphis, Tenn. will be celebrating the king of rock and roll during Elvis Week. This year will mark the 44th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s passing, and fans will be able to celebrate the legend’s life and legacy during this event.
On Aug. 16 during Elvis in Concert and Aug. 17 during Conversations on Elvis, Presley’s late wife Priscilla will be making an appearance. Elvis Week Platinum Package Passholders will also be able to meet Priscilla at the first-ever cocktail party on Graceland’s Back Lawn on Aug. 17. You can purchase the limited Platinum Package here. The Guest House at Graceland has also announced that all guests that have booked for at least two nights during Elvis Week will receive exclusive access to early bird rates, and a hotel pre-sale for next year’s Elvis Week. Reservations can be made online.
Kicking off this year’s event, Elvis tribute artists will participate in the semifinal and final rounds of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. A live concert featuring past winners will be performing at The Ultimate Return. Other tribute artists will be performing as well, and you can check out the full line-up and packages here.
On Aug. 15, a candlelight vigil will be held at the front gate in remembrance of the Presley. Throughout the night, fans can pay their respects and gather on Elvis Boulevard while listening to his old hits.
The live concert experience, Elvis In Concert, will feature on-screen performances from Presley himself, backed by a live band and special appearances by Priscilla and TCB band members.
