Queenie and the Jambalaya Jazz Band return to Disneyland

There’s no news about the return of  Fantasmic! to the Disneyland Resort after the fire that destroyed the show’s iconic Maleficent dragon animatronic, but thankfully, guest favorite Queenie and the Jambalaya Jazz Band have returned – and they’re bringing music back to the Rivers of America.

According to the Disneyland app, Queenie and the Jambalaya Jazz Band will perform popular, high-energy New Orleans tunes and Disney fan favorites accompanied by fountains and lighting effects. Queenie will also lead fun call-and-response interactions with guests along the shore.

The New Orleans-inspired jazz act performs every evening at 7:35 p.m., 8:25 p.m., and 9:05 p.m. from a New Orleans-themed raft on the Rivers of America. Guests should check the Disneyland app for the most up-to-date showtimes.

After Queenie and the Jambalaya Jazz Band’s final performance of the evening, park guests can stick around New Orleans Square to watch “Wondrous Journeys” (through Aug. 31) and “Halloween Screams” (through Oct. 31) from a unique vantage point on the Rivers of America. On select nights, the projection shows are accompanied by fireworks.

Additional entertainment joining New Orleans Square will be announced soon.
