R2-D2 now roaming around Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland

On your next visit to Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, you might run into a familiar droid roaming through Batuu – R2-D2!

The astromech droid is now officially roaming through the streets of Black Spire Outpost after recent play-testing in the land.

While R2 is now officially roaming at Disneyland, there’s no word on if we will also see the droid make the rounds at Walt Disney World’s version of Galaxy’s Edge.

  1. Ecstatic to see R2-D2 finally roaming free in Galaxy’s Edge, Hopefully this is the start of seeing more characters come to the land! Next can we please get the Hondo Ohnaka that we saw at the media event opening at WDWs GE, or Harkos the Bounty Hunter in Cantina that was teased before the land open, or maybe some Jawas walking around bartering with guests back when Star Wars Weekends was a thing?
