From March 11-17, 2022, Raglan Road will be steeped in The Emerald Isle’s traditions of rollicking authentic music, comfort foods with a twist, and plenty of cold brews and tantalizing specialty cocktails.

The pub’s own Irish musicians and dancers will be joined by a lineup of top bands flown in directly from Ireland for the event.

Jig Jam is known for its unique CeltGrass sound, while the Lisa Canny Band marries hip-hop, pop, and traditional Irish rhythms.

Rock the house down with Emerald Shore; be charmed by the musicianship of Men of Aran; and experience the down-home Irish ballads and time-honored melodies of songwriter and guitarist Blain Curtis.

The Raglan Road Irish Dancers, veterans of Irish dance from around the world, are a favorite any time of the year, but especially during the Mighty festival.

Pub co-owner John Cooke said, “Our imported Irish talent lineup is exceptional. These entertainers are not seen nor heard in any other location in the U.S. on St. Patrick’s Day. Everyone can enjoy this expanded festival, which includes gift competitions and loads of giveaways. The Mighty Festival remains the best Irish hospitality experience in America.”

St. Patrick’s Day is known world-wide as a day for imbibing a brew or two, and each year Raglan Road collaborates with a select brewery to bring a specially-crafted libation to its menu. This year’s brewery is Crooked Can Brewing Co. in Winter Garden, Fla. and the beer on tap is So Berry Les, a berry-forward mug of suds that honors strawberry season in the Sunshine State.

So Berry Les also pays tribute to Cooke’s father, Les, who earned a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records in 1977 for paying the highest price ever for strawberries at a charity auction – 530 Irish punt, Ireland’s pre-Euro currency – to generate publicity for his restaurant.

Those who prefer their Irish celebrations with whiskey can enjoy a huge range at the ready. Or, opt for a hand-crafted cocktail to pair up with the chef’s selection of authentic Irish dishes, including authentic fish & chips made with fresh-caught fish.

Select a special memento of the day at the pub’s Shop for Ireland boutique, which features authentic Irish clothing, gifts, Celtic jewelry, hats, home goods, and toys.

Reservations are encouraged from March 11-16. On March 17, dining will be first-come first-serve only; no reservations accepted.

Raglan Road will be open at 10 a.m. on St. Patrick’s Day, and there is a $20 cover charge for guests ages 18 and up. Younger patrons are free.

“Whether this is your first, or one of many St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, we encourage you to join us this year for The Mighty St. Patrick’s Day Festival,” Cooke added. “You’ll be glad you did!”
