Whirling waterslides, blasting jets, squirting spinners and more – playing in the water is about to get cooler with Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld’s new R Aqua Zone.
The interactive water playground is a new addition to the 781-room ocean-themed hotel across from SeaWorld. R Aqua Zone features an energetic teen/tween play area with two twisting water slides – one over 120 feet long – periscope guns, a gyroscope spinner, shooting water jets, a water windmill and more. Toddlers will enjoy their own pint-sized R Aqua Zone inclusive of a tot pool, a small slide, more than 20 mini water jets and a rain tree.
The Renaissance Orlando partnered with Give Kids the World (An organization that helps families with children with life-threatening illnesses) to celebrate the grand opening of its new water playground. The event was exclusive to Give Kids the World wish families and also marked the start of the organization’s annual Ice Cream for Breakfast fundraising and awareness campaign.
In addition to the additions to the pool, the resort also boasts an expansion to the lawn area where scheduled games and activities will take place on weekends through Labor Day.
Renaissance Orlando recently became an official hotel partner with SeaWorld, an alliance that comes with a list of perks availed only to patrons of the hotel. New, value-added benefits include: early entry on select days during peak seasons; complimentary front-of-the-line access; discounts on select food and purchases at SeaWorld and Aquatica; complimentary transportation to SeaWorld and Aquatica, scheduled transportation to Discovery Cove and Universal Orlando; and exclusive access to the SeaWorld Rescue Tour on early entry days.
