When I heard the Alice in Wonderland-themed White Rabbit Dessert Experience opened near Walt Disney World, I knew I had to check it out.

The White Rabbit Dessert Experience started in New York with three locations across the state and has recently expanded to Florida with locations in Orlando and Flamingo Crossings. What makes the sit-down restaurant unique is that its menu is comprised of only dessert items – more than 100 of them – but no savory items.

Décor

I was hosted at the Flamingo Crossings location in December of 2023.From the moment I set foot into the restaurant, the décor blew me away; it’s just the right amount to make me feel as though I stepped into Wonderland without being too overpowering. I especially liked the wall of clocks on the restaurant’s left side. In addition, the lighting fixtures resembled flowers, and some of the walls were painted to make guests feel like they were in the middle of the woods. The menus on the tables even contained images of Alice and The White Rabbit.

The restaurant also has an “open kitchen” concept where diners can watch their sweet treats being made behind a glass divider. I enjoyed watching as my cake creation was prepared by one of the team members.

White Rabbit Dessert Experience Menu

The menu at White Rabbit Dessert Experience includes crepes and waffles (with or without ice cream), one- and two-scoop sundaes, cake with ice cream or fruit, milkshakes, smoothies, banana splits, cookies, brownies, and more. There are also gluten-free items.

My party ordered the “Mad Chocolate” ($18.50), a large slice of chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream, and Belgian milk chocolate sauce; “The Dark Side” ($20.75), a crepe with chocolate ice cream, brownie pieces, Belgian milk chocolate pieces, and sauce; and “The Mad Cookie” ($12), a chocolate chip cookie sandwich with vanilla ice cream and Belgian milk chocolate sauce.

The restaurant also contains a small gift shop filled with themed items, including t-shirts, tote bags, plush stuffed animals, and to-go containers of candy and other dessert items.

Overall Thoughts

As a dessert fiend, I like that this restaurant only serves dessert. There’s a wide variety of items to choose from, and it’s unique that diners can watch their concoctions being made in front of them. The portion sizes are huge and definitely shareable (I’d recommend between two people, but three is doable, too). That said, the prices are a bit high, so they may be out of some people’s budget unless they split the cost between multiple people.

Although the White Rabbit Dessert Experience I visited at Flamingo Crossings Town Center in Winter Garden, Fla., is closest to Walt Disney World, there is a second restaurant in the city of Orlando. Each location has different hours. Click here for more information.

  1. Yes, beautiful pictures. But were they good? Worth the drive and the calories? Anyone can dress up a piece of dry cake or a crumbly cookie with ice cream and sauce. If we’re going to go there, it needs to be over the top delicious. Thanks if you can add some information about taste, texture, etc.

  2. Agree with previous comment. When I read a review of a restaurant, I expect for there to be mention of how the food tasted. I find it odd that this review didn’t mention anything about the quality or taste of the food ordered.
