Love ‘80s horror movies and want to work out? ‘Slashercise’ may be for you
“Slashercise” will combine the aesthetics of 1980s horror movies with a genuine workout video when it debuts on DVD this March.
Self-described by its production company as “a horror-filled, cinematic fitness journey,” “Slashercise” DVD will contain four workouts. Content is intended for mature audiences.
The visuals blend the vintage styles of exercise videos and horror movies set to a synth-infused soundtrack. A villain named Meathead antagonizes the workout hosts. In between sessions, the DVD plays horror sketches.
