Review: ‘It’s A Dog’s Life’ is a fun and educational look at man’s best friend

A new Disney+ original series, titled “It’s a Dog’s Life with Bill Farmer,” has arrived that will teach viewers how important dogs can be and even pull a few heartstrings.

The series features the iconic voice of Goofy and Pluto for more than 30 years, Disney Legend Bill Farmer, as he steps out from behind the microphone to meet his own favorite characters—dogs! Join Farmer as he crosses the country meeting dogs doing all kinds of incredible jobs that make our lives better.

Debuting today, May 15, each episode is right around 30 minutes long and features two different stories, as well as some educational tips on dog training and highlighting hometown heroes. Episodes are released on a weekly basis.

The first episode sees Farmer heading to the sea with a dog who sniffs for whale poop. Then he meets a dog keeping a sheep ranch moving. Farmer’s love for dogs is very apparent, and you can tell he his having a blast as well as learning some new things, which viewers can as well.

With how many different things dogs can do, “It’s A Dog’s Life with Bill Farmer” is a wonderful addition to the Disney+ Originals lineup that has the potential for many seasons.
