Ripley’s famous fertility statues get extended stay at the Orlando Odditorium

The famous pair of fertility statues are getting an extended stay at Ripley’s Orlando Odditorium. These statues were acquired from the Ivory Coast of West Africa in 1993 and placed in the lobby of Ripley Entertainment’s corporate headquarters in Orlando. Within just a few months, 13 women, including staffers and office visitors, were pregnant.

These statues have been on display to the public all over the U.S as well as Europe. The number of people who say the statues helped them get pregnant has grown to nearly 3,000.

Women who can’t make it to the statues in person reach out and touch the statues by faxing copies of their handprints. Ripley’s employees will then rub the faxes on the statues and then send them back to the sender. People are welcome to fax their handprints to the Orlando Odditorium at 407-345-0803.

The fertility statues are located in the lobby and are available to be seen and touched for free. Although, visitors who want to tour the Odditorium must purchase a ticket. Those making a special trip to Orlando to touch Ripley’s fertility statues should call in advance to confirm the statues will be available during their visit.

Ripley’s Orlando Odditorium is located at 8201 International Drive. For more information click here.
