Take to the skies with flight excursions at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando starting June 22

The Ritz-Carlton Orlando is giving guests a bird’s-eye-view with their new Seaplane Excursions, which begin on June 22.

The seaplane will take off and land on one of the 12 lakes located at the resort, and will give guests a beautiful view of the resort’s surroundings. The excursions will take place

Wednesdays through Saturdays at the resort, and guests have four options for flights:

• Lunch Fly In – Take flight and experience authentic Florida cuisine that includes Grab and Gator Bites, Florida Catfish, Frog Legs, and more. Guests can dine at Lone Cabbage Fish Camp, Loughman Lake Lodge, or Jolly Gator Fish Camp Bar & Grill. Lunch is not included in the flight price, which is $350 per person, up to two passengers. Flights depart at 12:30 p.m.
• Hillstone Dinner Fly In – Dine on the banks of Lake Killarney at Hillstone, with menu items like prime New York strip steak, classic grilled chicken salad, and key lime pie. Dinner is not included in the flight price at $350 per person, up to two passengers. The excursions begin at 5 p.m. (Daylight Savings Time).
• Orlando Attractions 30-Minute Flightseeing – Guests can view all 500 acres of Grande Lakes, in addition to some of Orlando’s attractions. The flight finishes up with a splash and dash on the Butler Chain of Lakes. This flight is $125 per person, and can accommodate two to four passengers.
• Ultimate Fly Fishing Experience – Two fishers can travel with Director of Fly Fishing, Capt. Mark Benson, as they take off from the private seabase to the St. Johns River to fish for American shad and largemouth bass. This flight excursion includes fly or spinning tackle, guide and beverages for guests. This is a Ritz-Carlton exclusive available December through May, and costs $2,000 for two passengers.

As a special deal for this new offering, the Orlando Attractions excursion will be offered at a lower rate of $99 per person, from June 22 to 24, and June 28 to July 3. This offer is based upon availability and weather, and some restrictions do apply. Reservations are required.
