Rosen Hotels & Resorts in Orlando consolidate two International Drive hotels

Rosen Hotels & Resorts have consolidated two of their adjoining hotels in Orlando’s International Drive tourist area.

The 134-room Midpointe Hotel has become a 356-room property with the addition of 222 rooms at the former Clarion Inn & Suites on I-Drive. Both properties are adjacent to the 1,334-room Rosen Centre, which is connected to the Orange County Convention Center by a covered pedestrian skybridge.

Midpointe Hotel’s name stands for its location midway between Orlando’s theme parks and other attractions. The hotel is also located just across the street from the convention center’s North-South Building, a short walk from I-Drive’s shopping, dining and entertainment offerings, and 12 minutes away from Orlando International Airport.

The Midpointe’s 356 guest rooms feature patterned carpeting, tan walls, and bedding with white linens. Each room offers a mini fridge, a flat-screen TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. The hotel’s amenities include a fitness center, business center, two outdoor swimming pools, two hot tubs, and complimentary parking.
