Rosen Hotels & Resorts have consolidated two of their adjoining hotels in Orlando’s International Drive tourist area.
The 134-room Midpointe Hotel has become a 356-room property with the addition of 222 rooms at the former Clarion Inn & Suites on I-Drive. Both properties are adjacent to the 1,334-room Rosen Centre, which is connected to the Orange County Convention Center by a covered pedestrian skybridge.
“Consolidating both properties under the Midpointe brand gave us a wonderful opportunity to combine services and deliver the extraordinary experience guests have come to expect from a Rosen hotel,” said Harris Rosen, president and COO of Rosen Hotels & Resorts. “Plus, the location lets Midpointe guests enjoy the spectacular amenities of Rosen Centre while staying just steps away from the Orange County Convention Center.”
Midpointe Hotel’s name stands for its location midway between Orlando’s theme parks and other attractions. The hotel is also located just across the street from the convention center’s North-South Building, a short walk from I-Drive’s shopping, dining and entertainment offerings, and 12 minutes away from Orlando International Airport.
The Midpointe’s 356 guest rooms feature patterned carpeting, tan walls, and bedding with white linens. Each room offers a mini fridge, a flat-screen TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. The hotel’s amenities include a fitness center, business center, two outdoor swimming pools, two hot tubs, and complimentary parking.
The Midpointe is also a Universal Partner Hotel, and offers a lobby ticket desk and complimentary shuttles to Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica.
Midpointe Hotel is located at 9956 Hawaiian Court, just off International Drive. To learn more, or to make a reservation, call (833) 527-4349 or visit MidpointeHotel.com.
