Rum Bar featuring Bacardí now open at the Caribe Royale Orlando hotel
Caribe Royal Orlando officially opened its new Rum Bar featuring Bacardí today, May 19, 2022, with an array of craft cocktails, Cuban-inspired bites, and a large selection of Bacardí rum.
Along with mixologists who create innovative cocktails, the new lounge and bar features artistic murals and designated dominoes tables for guests who would like to try their hand at the traditional Cuban pastime while sipping their libations.
“Rum Bar featuring Bacardí is an exciting addition to Caribe Royale Orlando, bringing authentic Cuban-inspired flavors, mixology, and entertainment to hotel guests and visitors,” said Managing Director Amaury Piedra. “We welcome everyone to make Rum Bar featuring Bacardí rum their go-to spot in the Central Florida area.”
Among the classic and contemporary cocktails on the bar’s beverage menu are the Libertad, a concoction of Bacardí Reserva Ocho golden rum, with flavors of oaky vanilla, dried fruits, and spice, mixed with fernet, prosecco, and Coca Cola.
The Cuba Libre – translated as “Free Cuba” – is an assemblage of Bacardí Silver, cola, and lime, evoking the “aftermath of the Spanish-American War,” which is the time frame in which the drink’s name was coined.
Tapas-style Cuban-inspired bites include beef empanadas paired with salsa pique and salsa criolla; Ropa Vieja flatbread composed of slow simmered pulled flank steak, roasted peppers, tomatoes, onions, salsa criolla, sour cream, and aioli; and Abuela Cruzitas flan with seasonal berries and whipped cream.
The bar and lounge is open daily from 4 p.m.-midnight, with live music on Thursdays and Fridays from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. A DJ spins discs on Saturdays from 7 p.m.- 11 p.m.
