The 8th annual Science of Wine will return to the Orlando Science Center this weekend.

Orlando Science Center is hosting the return of the 8th annual Science of Wine fundraiser this Saturday, April 28.

From 7 – 10 p.m., guests can sip, savor and support the mission of the Orlando Science Center as they sample over 150 wines paired with bites from 30 different restaurants.

Science of Wine isn’t your average wine tasting, but a study of wine with presentations on the different aspects of wine growing and tasting, as well as the chance to try over 150 fine wines from the world’s most important wine regions alongside food from Central Florida.

During the event, guests can enjoy performances by True Legacy, Central Florida’s R&B vocal group that blends together soul, funk and R&B. They can also paint a Science of Wine-inspired canvas with Super Awesome Cool Pottery to take home. Guests can also have wild encounters with NatureWorks animal ambassadors, who will be visiting during the event.

Tickets to the Science of Wine event are on sale now. Wine seminar and cooking demo tickets are also available, at an additional $20 per seat. Science Center members can receive a special rate of $100 per ticket.
