Seven Seas Food Festival 3-Mile Fun Run

SeaWorld Orlando’s Seven Seas Food Festival Fun Run coincides with the park’s annual celebration of international cuisine. SeaWorld welcomes all levels of runners; participants can complete the course at their own pace.

On race day, sunrise in Orlando will be at 6:42 a.m., the race will kick off at 7 a.m., and SeaWorld will open to the public at 9 a.m., meaning race participants will journey through the park before the arrival of day guests.

All participants will receive a medal and a t-shirt. The top three women and top three men runners will receive a SeaWorld Orlando annual pass.

Though this is the first racing event to be branded with the park’s Seven Seas Food Festival, SeaWorld Orlando has hosted numerous other races in the past.

The race course will loop around the parking lot before entering SeaWorld Orlando near Sesame Street Land. From there, runners will circle the park and finish at Wild Arctic, where SeaWorld will host a post-race celebration for runners and spectators.

SeaWorld’s press release listed the race course length as 5 kilometers, while the park’s website says the course will be 3 miles. There’s a difference between the metrics, but not much; 5 kilometers is 3.12 miles, and 3 miles is 4.82 kilometers.

Kids Run

Children ages 7 and under can participate in a Kids Run inside Sesame Street Land, happening at 8 a.m., just after the grown-ups’ race.
