What to expect for SeaWorld Orlando’s Christmas Celebration 2022

The holidays are back at SeaWorld Orlando! On select dates from Nov. 11, 2022-Jan. 3, 2023, guests will be able to view holiday lights and decorations, enjoy new family-friendly entertainment, and ice skate in one of Central Florida’s only ice skating rinks.

During the day, SeaWorld Orlando guests will be able to ice skate in Bayside Stadium, but during the evening hours, guests will be entertained by professional skaters. These performers will show off their skills in a nightly “Winter Wonderland on Ice” performance. At the end of the night, “Holiday Reflections” will showcase the sounds of the season in addition to an enormous fireworks display in the sky above the Sea of Trees.

Each area of SeaWorld Orlando will feature different decorations and themed entertainment. At the Waterfront and in Wild Arctic Plaza, festive stilt walkers will be interacting with guests. Over in Sharks Plaza, jump-roping toy soldiers and Elf Story Chair Stacking will entertain park visitors.

Photo opportunities include Santa, Rudolph, and Bumble. Santa can be found in his workshop in the Shoppes at the Waterfront. Rudolph and Bumble will be located in their new home at Wild Arctic this year. Additionally, guests who wish to dine with Santa may do so throughout the Christmas Celebration for an extra fee.

Sesame Street Land will host its popular Sesame Street Christmas Parade. On Saturday mornings, for an additional cost, visitors can dine with Sesame Street friends. “Elmo’s Christmas Wish” is returning to the SeaPort Theater where guests can join Cookie Monster, Grover, Zoe, and Rosita to help Elmo find his Christmas wish.

New food and beverage offerings will be a highlight of the celebration. Some offerings include Christmas bread pudding, Arroz con dulce, Santa’s Sweet and Savory Treat Doughnut Chicken Sandwich, and freshly baked deep-dish cookies. Holiday cocktails will include options such as holiday peppermint eggnog, Christmas beer sangria, and a winter wonderland hot toddy.

From Dec. 18-26, guests can celebrate Hanukkah with the traditional lighting of the menorah. Big Bird will also be telling Hanukkah stories throughout the celebration.

Unless otherwise noted, all entertainment and activities during SeaWorld Orlando’s Christmas Celebration are included with park admission. Head to SeaWorldOrlando.com for more details.
