SeaWorld Orlando instates “no re-entry” policy
If guests at SeaWorld Orlando leave the park in the middle of their day, a “no re-entry” rule prohibits them from returning that same day.
Update, July 7, 2024: The “no re-entry” signs described in this story were gone later that day, and to our knowledge they haven’t returned.
No re-entry at SeaWorld Orlando
SeaWorld Orlando has introduced a policy that does not allow guests to re-enter the park if they leave at any point during the day. This prevents guests from leaving for hotel breaks or lunch plans, or if they forget something in their car.

Matt asked three SeaWorld ambassadors (employees) if the re-entry procedure applies to guests of all ticket types. Two ambassadors said pass members are excluded from the policy, and can enter, exit, and re-enter as they please. One ambassador said the policy applies to all guests, including pass members.
It is unknown at this time if the policy is related to anticipated crowds for the holiday week or something else. Today is also the first day of pass member previews for Penguin Trek, the park’s new roller coaster (which officially opens to all guests July 7).
Typically, theme parks pay no mind whether a guest comes and goes throughout the day. Most admission types at theme parks grant entry for the entire length of the park’s daily operating hours (with the rare exception of evening-only ticket types at various parks here and there). When any re-entry policy is in place, it may involve getting your hand stamped as you exit to verify re-entry when you return later. SeaWorld’s policy is not that; it’s no re-entry on the same day, period.

This will undoubtably not be good for Sea World and it will show in their ticket sales. If I pay for a 1-Day pass, that is for a full day whether I go to the parking lot because I forgot something or leave for an afternoon nap and come back.
Another reason to not visit and just focus on Disney or universal. I guess they have no competition. Weird!
