Menus, concerts, and ticket discounts for Viva La Música 2023 at SeaWorld San Diego

The festival will run Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from May 5-21, 2023, beginning at 12 p.m. Each day’s itinerary is filled with exciting festival offerings.

Free Concerts during Viva La Música 2023

SeaWorld San Diego invites Viva La Música guests to enjoy concerts in Bayside Amphitheater from headlining artists.

Here’s the lineup:

• May 5-6, 2023: Anything for Salinas Band, a tribute to Selena Quintanilla
• May 13-14, 2023: La Original Banda El Limón
• May 21, 2023: To be announced

Each concert begins at 6 p.m. Concert admission is included with SeaWorld admission, but reserved seating and band meet and greets will be available for purchase soon on SeaWorld’s website.

Festival Entertainment

Guests will discover the heart of Viva La Música at Zócalo, the festival area at SkyTower Lawn.

Here, the Mariachi Divas, the two-time Grammy-winning, all-female mariachi band, will treat guests to live music on Fridays and Saturdays at 12, 1:30, 3, 4:30, and 6 p.m., and on Sundays at 12:30, 2, 3:30, 5, and 6:30 p.m.

Also at Zócalo, Grupo Folklorico Herencia Mexicana will celebrate Mexican culture with music and dancing on Fridays and Saturdays at 12:30, 2, 3:30, 5, and 6:30 p.m., and on Sundays at 1, 2:30, 4, and 5:30 p.m.

Fridays and Saturdays will also feature a live DJ, who will bring the party to Zócalo at 7 and 8:15 p.m., and fireworks, which will cap off the evening at 8:50 p.m.

Drink Specials on Cinco de Mayo

Since Viva La Música 2023 officially begins on Cinco de Mayo, SeaWorld San Diego will serve drink specials on Friday, May 5, from 4-9 p.m.

Manta Bar and Explorer’s Café Bar will offer a 16-oz. classic margarita for $10, while Underwater Cantina will have a Mezcal margarita for $4.

Limited-Time Discount on SeaWorld San Diego Annual Passes

May 4-7, 2023, guests can purchase any kind of annual pass to SeaWorld San Diego and get another annual pass at 50% off. This deal is also valid for the 2-Park Pass, which includes admission to both SeaWorld San Diego and Sesame Place San Diego.

Annual passholders can jump right into the SeaWorld fun with repeat visits to Viva La Música. Later this spring, passholders will be the first riders on the new Arctic Rescue roller coaster.
