Sesame Place promises a busload of fun for the whole family

Sesame Place in Philadelphia — the only theme park in the U.S. based entirely on Sesame Street — has announced that guests will be able to ride a red double-decker bus with Big Bird and his furry friends when Big Bird’s Tour Bus opens in April 2022.

Guests who purchase a 2022 Season Pass and visit three (or more) times in 2021 are eligible to be among the first to ride Big Bird’s Tour Bus during a Season Pass Member Exclusive Event in April. Plus, guests who visit four or more times in 2021 with their 2022 Season Pass will receive an exclusive picture with Big Bird and a commemorative Big Bird’s Tour Bus Pin at the event.

Guests with 2022 Season Passes can also enjoy the rest of this season for free, including opportunities to attend the park’s Back to School Bash, Labor Day Celebration, and see the new Summer Fireworks Show every Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m. through Sept. 5.

Sesame Place - Back to School Bash

Back to School Bash (Aug. 30-Sept. 3, 2021) – A whole week of fun events includes Dine with Elmo & Friends and Elmo’s School Rules Bash featuring Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, and The Count. Paid Park admission is required in addition to a dining reservation.

Sesame Place - Labor Day Celebration

Labor Day Celebration (Sept. 4-5, 2021) – There’s no better way to celebrate the end of summer than at the Labor Day Celebration at Sesame Place. On Sept. 4 and 5, families can snap photos with Elmo dressed in his red, white, and blue holiday best at Photos with Elmo and Friends. Then, on Sept. 5 at 8:00 p.m., guests can rock out with Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, and Count von Count, as music fills the air and the sky sparkles with colorful fireworks.

Sesame Place is the first theme park in the world to become a Certified Autism Center as distinguished by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES).
