Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends and ‘Cirque X-Scream’ show bring Fall fun to Busch Gardens Tampa Tampa

Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends features expanded trick-or-treating and plenty of furry favorites when they return to Busch Gardens Tampa in October, plus the park debuts an all-new show, starting Sept. 17.

Sesame Street Kids' Weekends

Saturday and Sunday throughout the month of October will bring an extra element of delight for families as Sesame Street friends don their Halloween finery during Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends — and the Candy Crew is out in full force!

The Trick-or-Treat Candy Trail is now even longer, with 10 locations for youngsters to collect sweet treats from the friendly Candy Crew. The trail extends from Sesame Street Safari of Fun through the Bird Garden pathway, and children are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes.

Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, Grover, and Rosita will be wearing their costumes, too, as they stroll through the Sesame Street Safari of Fun area for one-of-a-kind photo opportunities.

Favorite characters also host Halloween Dance Parties in the Sesame Street Pavilion throughout the day, so kids and their families can show off their dance moves and groove to the beat!

For a limited time, the “Not-Too-Spooky Howl-O-Ween Radio Show” will return, with Count von Count acting as master of scareemonies. While the Count spins his favorite tunes, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, Zoe, Grover, Oscar, and Elmo keep the interactive song-and-dance fun going during this not-too-spooky Halloween show.

Adults (ages 21 and up) have even more Fall festivities in store as Bier Fest continues each Friday-Sunday through Oct. 31. Explore the all-new Beer Trail, featuring hoppy seasonal brews and new culinary offering.

Or go full-on fright-fest at Busch Gardens’ annual Howl-O-Scream event, filled with iconic haunted houses, horrifying scare zones, and “killer entertainment.” This separately ticketed event runs on select nights from Sept. 10 – Oct. 31.
