Sesame Street Safari of Fun returns to Busch Gardens Tampa for Halloween

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is welcoming back Sesame Street Safari of Fun Kids’ Weekends with spooky Halloween fun every Saturday and Sunday in October.

Included with daily park admission, families can enjoy trick-or-treating and a special theme each weekend of the event. Kids can even wear their Halloween costumes and take part in fun activities, like:

The Not-Too-Spooky Howl-O-Ween Radio Show

This fan-favorite show is back again, as Count Von Count takes on the role of ‘master of scare-emonies’ and leads his friends though crowd-favorite songs. With a bit of help from Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, Zoe, Grover, Oscar and Elmo, the Count will produce a “thriller” of a Halloween show that is sure to get everyone on their feet.

Fall Festival Activites

Families can take part in a fun hay maze, pumpkin ring toss and more at Gwazi Field. Guests can hang out with Sesame Street friends like Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, Grover and Rosita as they host dance parties will dressed in Halloween costumes.

Themed Weekends and Crafts

In addition to the fun at the Fall Festival, each of the four event weekends will feature themed character encounters throughout the day along with special surprises:

  • Monsters & Fairies – Oct. 5-6: Take part in crafts that transform kids into magical fairies like Abby Cadabby or lovable monsters like Elmo
  • Spooky Safari – Oct. 12-13: Set out on a scavenger hunt, meet Bert and Ernie, encounter animal ambassadors and make safari-inspired Halloween crafts
  • Super Grover – Oct. 19-20: Take part in superhero-inspired crafts and character encounters led by Super Grover
  • Rosita’s Halloween Fiesta – Oct. 26-27: Join in for fiesta-inspired fall crafts and meet Rosita throughout the Safari of Fun area

New for this year, families can upgrade their Sesame Street Safari of Fun experience with a festive fall Sunday breakfast with Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby and more. Available each Sunday in October, families can book their reservations online for this limited-space dining experience. The cost is $12.99 for children (ages 3-9) and $19.99 for adults. Busch Gardens Pass Members can save up to 20 percent on this experience.
