Sidewinder Safari coaster is slithering into Six Flags Discovery Kingdom

Sidewinder Safari, a new one-of-a-kind combination of thrilling family coaster and animal exhibit experience, will be slithering its way into Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, Calif. on May 28, 2022.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom features more than 60 rides and attractions, including interactive animal experiences. This one-of-a-kind, new attraction – the park’s 11th roller coaster – will combine the thrill of a spinning coaster with live reptile encounters as guests ride along 1,378 feet of slithering track through a jungle-like setting.

Before boarding the Sidewinder Safari spinning coaster vehicles, guests will enter a safari-themed queue with snakes, lizards, and other reptiles surrounding them. Other Sidewinder Safari highlights include twisting and turning hairpin curves, rapid-strike drops, and multiple 360-degree sideway spins.
