Sights and sounds of an empty Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at sunrise

Disney recently invited us to an empty Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for some sunrise photos. Without the crowds, the land is alive with sounds, everything from “distant” creatures to “villagers” going about their day. Of course, getting photos of this land without other theme park guests is nearly impossible during normal hours.

I arrived before sunrise, around 6 a.m. and wondered the land until just before guests were allowed in around 8:30 a.m. You’ll not only get to see the empty land in my video and photos below, but be sure to listen to all the sounds of the land without the roar of the crowds in the video.

Each area of Black Spire Outpost has a different soundtrack. In fact, you’ll hear many different sounds in each small area, some just feet away from each other. It’s something that really stands out when you’re in the land without a lot of guests around.
