Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures have announced the launch of The Sing 2 Sing-Along Experience in theaters nationwide beginning March 25, 2022.
Illumination’s “Sing 2” has earned over $1 billion worldwide since its Dec. 2021 debut. To celebrate that success – and create a unique interactive experience for fans – the Sing 2 Sing-Along Experience invites moviegoers to participate in the kind of thrilling group musical experience that usually only happens when a live concert audience joins the musicians to sing their favorite songs.
“Sing 2” features the popular characters from the first film (voiced by Matthew McConaughey, Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon, Taron Egerton, Tori Kelly, Nick Kroll, and Garth Jennings), plus new characters played by music superstars Pharrell Williams and Halsey, actors Bobby Cannavale and Letitia Wright, comedians Eric André and Chelsea Peretti, and (in his animated film debut) global music icon Bono.
Beginning March 25, 2022, moviegoers in the U.S. and Canada can choose from multiple Sing 2 Sing-Along showings at participating theaters. Thanks to onscreen lyrics for more than 20 of the film’s biggest hits, including “Girl on Fire,” “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” “Let’s Go Crazy,” “She Bangs,” and the U2 anthems, “Where The Streets Have No Name” and “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” audiences will be able to experience the fun of singing along with fellow Sing fans and the film’s beloved characters
