Six Flags Qiddiya City opening date set with world’s tallest & fastest roller coaster

Six Flags Qiddiya City, a new theme park in Saudi Arabia with the world’s tallest and fastest roller coaster, set an opening date: Dec. 31, 2025.

Six Flags Qiddiya City’s opening date is officially New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, 2025, as announced on Nov. 15.

Six Flags Qiddiya City, first announced in 2019, will include:

  • Falcon’s Flight, the fastest and tallest roller coaster in the world
    • 155 mph
    • 639 feet tall
  • Sirocco Tower, the tallest free-standing shot ride in the world
    • 475 feet tall
  • Iron Rattler, the tallest tilt coaster in the world
    • 208 feet tall
  • Gyrospin, the tallest pendulum ride in the world
    • 173 feet tall

In 2024, Six Flags merged with Cedar Fair to form a combined portfolio of 56 parks in North America. Six Flags Qiddiya City marks a departure from the brand’s traditional projects.
